Doodling during Ichthus=REVELATIONS!

Okay, seriously God, you are funny and awesome.

Today i was cleaning off my desk and was looking at some notes from Ichthus that i jotted down a few weeks ago... now, i am a doodler. i doodle no matter what.
Today the Lord used my doodle to speak to me!!!

For some reason i had written out this:
COME.
And it had a box around it.

Come! i know, so simple.
i know, i already know this!
But recently, i can't explain it... it's been hard to approach the Lord.
So i laughed to myself when i read this and i'm thanking God for His grace.

My beloved speaks and says to me: "Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away, for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom;
they give forth ... They give forth fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.
Song of Solomon 2:11-13

He already fought death for me.
Ahhh... i am refreshed.

well, here are a few of my favorite things.

1. sending and receiving letters

2. learning spanish

3. making paper chain clips

4. Vanilla Caramel Bigelow Tea. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's delightful. 

i have a lot more favorite things, but school is screaming for my attention. yuck.

This is what i need right now.

i need to know that the Lord loves me.

When i mess up, He loves me.

When i am struggling to find joy, He loves me.

Not because of ANYTHING i have done but because He sees "redeemed" written all over me. 

The Lord is faithful and i have to remember this.

He is SO forgiving even when i feel like i can't even lift my eyes to Him.

Wedding in October. No, not mine!

so i'm headed to a wedding of a good friend this weekend...

it's going to be at a state park in Missouri

and it's going to look a little like this.

i have a feeling it's going to be the most beautiful wedding i've ever been to. Wanna know why?

1. i love, love, love autumn.

2. i REALLY love weddings.

3. Being outside is in the list of top 5 favorite things ever.

4. i really love doing things with my good friends.

People, when #1, #2, # 3 and #4 are combined. . . well, it doesn't get much better than that.
