So maybe I sound dramatic, but I kind of feel like an Israelite wandering through the desert.
Not really sure of anything but the promised land.
At times completely forgetting what God has done in my life up to this point.
Forgetting how He miraculously rescued me.

Luke Wood is a worship leader at IHOP, probably my favorite.
He wrote this song called Hosea and you should listen to it.

At least read these lyrics.

i read the lyrics. i want to hear the song. and btw, when i read IHOP, I naturally read "international house of pancakes" every time.

i wonder if the Israelites really believed in the promised land. why did they do so much stupid stuff? why did they worship golden calfs? why did God have to make a bronze snake to heal them? could i go 40 years of going in circles in the desert without questioning my leaders?? good illustration, though. the promised land isn't far..

Hey Meg.
I love you. I mean that.
I feel like we give the Israelites a lot of crap for their unbelief, but we do the same thing all the time. I def relate.
"And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Mark 2:17
